Give Me A Reason: The Tea Cards

(Warning, the solution to first of five cards is revealed at the bottom of this page).

Notoriously tricky, until you start noticing patterns...

As per the letter instructions, the lettering holds some clue, so here the player has put A,B,C and D to one side, and the remaining card to the left. They notice a mysterious symbol on the text of Dandelion, and on the first three lettered cards (A, B and C), a corner with a small circle. In addition, the player notices that the letters are in specific corners, in certain directions. All of this is important.

The player has placed the A card near the corner shape. It looks like it could block out some of the base card text.  Worth exploring?

It does indeed block some out. The cornery symbol is on the top-most card now. Perhaps B should be placed on top, so that B is upright?

This is working - fewer and fewer words are now visible! Perhaps C works the same way?

It does! The D card has no matching symbol, but C does, so the player places the D card on top of the rest, with a very steady hand!

The task is complete - with all four cards laid over the top, all words are blocked out aside from 'you,' which is our starting word.

Proceed with the other patterns to reveal the message...
